USB Camera
Update kernel to version 4.19.193-2-rockchip or newer.
root@rock-3a:~# apt-get install -y linux-4.19-rock-3-latest
Install tool fswebcam
root@rock-3a:~# apt-get install -y fswebcam
Plug USB camera in, there shall be video devices.
root@rock-3a:~# ls /dev/video* /dev/video0 /dev/video1
Capture image
fswebcam /dev/video0 ./test.png

ROCK 3C Use OV5647 Camera
- Edit config.txt
rock@rock-3c:~$ sudo vim /boot/config.txt
- at the end of the file add overlay
dtoverlay=rock-3c-ov5647
- update extlinux.conf
rock@rock-3c:/boot$ cd /usr/local/sbin/ rock@rock-3c:sudo ./update_extlinux.sh rock@rock-3c:sudo reboot
- Use cheese to open the camera
sudo apt install cheesr sudo cheese
