This page describe the hardware revisions of ROCK Pi S. For the different models and features of each models, please refer models page.

V1.0

  • This is the first version of the board, 15 samples are made

V1.1

  • Board color changes to yellow :-)
  • Change GPIO header to be compatible with ROCK Pi 4
  • Swap USB Host on type A and USB OTG on type C, make more sense with single cable for power and adb
  • Change SPI flash to SD Nand

V1.2

  • Add full PDM support on GPIO header according to the discussion on the forum
  • Swap ethernet status led JP1 pin 11/12 and pin 13/14
  • Change resistor R9608 R90304 value to reduce brightness of LED
  • Add 5.1K pull down resistor on type C CC pin :-)

V1.3

  • Change 4 PINs MIC on 26P header 2 with SPI/I2C/UART function, as required by some applications. Check V13 GPIO PINOUT (Pin 13/14/15/16) for more details
